Enrolment and orientation
The Institute publishes very clear criteria for each of its courses, which may specify academic, educational and/or other requirements. However, as a learner-centred provider, the Institute will carefully consider all applications, including those where alternative entry provisions are sought. During the pre-enrolment phase, the Institute will seek additional details about any special requirements learners may have.
The Institute recruits learners in a very responsible, ethical and transparent manner. All applications to enrol at the Institute are considered on their merits, having no regard to a person’s place of origin, language, gender, sexual orientation or any other factor i.e. there is absolutely no discrimination in the ways in which the Institute identifies and enrols learners.
As part of welcoming learners to its campus and to the programs in which they have enrolled, the Institute will arrange an orientation/induction where learners are provided with the information they will need to be successful learners and members of the community in Sydney. All learners at the Institute will be given a link to the comprehensive Learner Handbook which gives detailed information about living and studying. Staff at the institute are always on hand should learners may have further questions.
